About Me

A few years ago, I lost my mother to cancer.  At the time of her diagnosis, she was relatively young and by most standards, very healthy. In addition to coping with the shock and grief, I began questioning everything I thought I knew about what was “healthy.” I started wondering if chronic illness was woven into some people’s destinies and if there was no changing that story. For the first time in my life, I felt scared that I wasn’t in full control of my own health and that I might not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to.

I hated being filled with worry and fear. I needed to do something. I threw myself into researching and learning the best ways to promote health and healing in the body. I enrolled with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and a year later, became a certified integrative nutrition health coach. I educated myself on various dietary theories and lifestyle changes, and I experimented with the most effective ways to implement those changes in everyday life. As a full-time working Mom to four young children, I understand the challenges that modern day life poses to our health. I know firsthand how real the obstacles are and how easy it is to put yourself last.

I started making small changes with the long-term goal of avoiding chronic illness, but I started noticing incredible short-term benefits. My sleep improved, my energy levels increased, and my anxiety decreased. I felt more in control and more at peace.

I know that we each have the power to positively influence our own health. Each of us deserves to experience an abundant, happy life and each of us should be empowered to transform and heal.

If you are ready to prioritize your health and feel your absolute best, I would be honored to support your journey. We will address your unique circumstances and define your wellness goals along with the best path to achieve them.
